Comic Relief
Ethan: Why did the chicken cross the road?
Me: To get to the other side
Ethan: No, because he wanted to get hit by a car...
Ethan: Knock Knock
Me: Who's there?
Ethan: I DON'T KNOW - you tell me!
Awful right? Well that's what you get when your raising a Garcia (boy!).

Game 7
OH!! What a game. Both teams played MAGNIFICENTLY and this was by far a HARD EARNED win. But a WIN nonetheless!!! Mid game Jayden pulled off an interception and then in double over time and a tied scored Logan scored the winning touch down and the Hurricanes claimed another victory.
We are now 6 and 1 with two games remaining until playoffs.

The Rockstar's need YOU
Remember my friends Brian & Courtney? A few weeks ago I told you about their plan to grow their family again through the miracle of adoption. Then sadly I had to share with all of you that the adoption fell through.
Well...they ARE indeed growing their family again. You can read all about their journey here. The baby will be born SOON and they are needing to raise funds FAST. (They returned ALL previous donated funds for the adoption that fell through)
I am asking my friends and family to consider donating just $5.00 - that's it $5.oo - to my dear friends. Your small donation will make a HUGE difference in the life of a child and possibly in eternity.
You can donate on their secure site or email me privately for their contact information.
Any and all support is GREATLY appreciated.
Blessings to all.

Happy GOTCHA
It has become a tradition in our home to celebrate the kids GOTCHA Days. Their GOTCHA day is the day they became ours.
For Ethan and Sadie that day is August 12 and for Madison its August 20.
On their GOTCHA day we allow the children to pick any restaurant they want to celebrate at and then we allow them to choose any desert they want.
This year all 3 of these kids picked Chili's to celebrate their day.
Well this past Sunday we went to Chili's after church and Madison said - "Let's pretend its Mom's GOTCHA Day". And I smiled and said "Madison that is so sweet".
Then she said "I think we should celebrate the day we GOT YOU" :-)
Ok, does it get any better than that????
I LOVE my life, I LOVE my kids and I know that I know that I know I am blessed beyond measure.
