Garcia's First Annual Fall Fun Day

Halloween has never really been one of my favorite Holiday's. I just don't have an appreciation for the element that tends to surround that evening.

I do however enjoy a good time of fellowship and spending time with new and old friends. And I do like to see my kids and all kids have a really good time in a SAFE and HEALTHY enviroment.

So this year (by the prompting of the Holy Spirit) Brian and I hosted what we hope will be an annual "Fall Fun Day".

We had food - oh so much food, a bounce house, a donut eating contest, a pie eating contest, we had pumpkin carving, pool games, water bolloon dodge ball, bobbing for apples, face painting. We even went on a scavenger hunt. It was wonderful a time!

Game 9

You win some - you loose some!

Today we played the toughest team in the league - the Gators. The boys played HARD and VERY WELL but unfortunately this game was not a victory for us.

We are however still advancing to the playoffs.

Sadie was recently invited to a Costume Birthday Party...

And she decided to be a cat.

Canes claimed the game! 19-0!

Comic Relief

Ethan: Why did the chicken cross the road?
Me: To get to the other side
Ethan: No, because he wanted to get hit by a car...

Ethan: Knock Knock
Me: Who's there?
Ethan: I DON'T KNOW - you tell me!

Awful right? Well that's what you get when your raising a Garcia (boy!).

Game 7

OH!! What a game. Both teams played MAGNIFICENTLY and this was by far a HARD EARNED win. But a WIN nonetheless!!! Mid game Jayden pulled off an interception and then in double over time and a tied scored Logan scored the winning touch down and the Hurricanes claimed another victory.

We are now 6 and 1 with two games remaining until playoffs.

Game 6

28 - 0! We are now 5-1 and looking to finish the season strong!
